7 Rise up, Lord, in your anger;
be aroused against the outrages of my oppressors.(A)
Stir up the justice, my God, you have commanded.

Judge me, Lord, according to my righteousness,
and my integrity.

Uphold the just one,
O just God,(B)
who tries hearts and minds.
IV

saving the upright of heart.(C)
12 God is a just judge, powerful and patient,[a]
not exercising anger every day.

makes arrows blazing thunderbolts.(E)
